Editorial, Originality and Evidence Policy

The rules XGY Tek uses to separate original engineering analysis from cited facts, illustrative examples, product data, and external standards.

What “original” means on this site

“Original XGY Tek editorial” means that the article-specific expression and analysis were created for XGY Tek rather than copied or lightly rewritten from another publication. Originality does not convert an external standard, equation, law, public fact, trade mark, or attributed specification into XGY intellectual property. Those materials remain identified and attributed to their respective sources.

Original analysis, clearly bounded

XGY Tek claims originality for the page-specific explanatory prose, engineering analysis, decision frameworks, tables, checklists, diagrams, and illustrative examples that we create. We do not claim ownership of standards, laws, public facts, scientific principles, third-party trade marks, or attributed product information.

Primary sources before summaries

Technical and regulatory claims are checked against applicable standards bodies, regulators, metrology institutes, government publications, official technical foundations, and approved product documentation wherever those sources are available. Each technical article identifies the sources used and the claim boundary they support.

Examples are not disguised evidence

A worked example is labelled illustrative when it uses assumed values. It must not be presented as a customer case, measured XGY result, certification, laboratory accreditation, or proof of product performance unless the page provides the real method, conditions, evidence, and responsible review.

Visual provenance is disclosed

Photographs, diagrams, generated visuals, and other illustrations are described according to their actual role. An illustrative engineering scene is not represented as a customer installation, a documentary site photograph, or evidence that a test was performed.

How a technical article is prepared

  1. 1. Define the decision. The article starts with a real engineering or procurement question, its operating envelope, and the conditions that can change the answer.
  2. 2. Build the evidence map. Standards, official guidance, metrology references, and approved product material are mapped to specific claims. A citation is not treated as endorsement.
  3. 3. Add original engineering value. The page develops decision logic, equations where appropriate, acceptance evidence, failure modes, uncertainty or safety boundaries, and a worked example when it improves understanding.
  4. 4. Separate fact from illustration. Assumptions, fictional examples, generated scenes, product boundaries, and unverified project-specific conditions are explicitly labelled.
  5. 5. Validate the publication. Automated checks cover required modules, links, sources, image availability, metadata, structured data, internal relationships, and build integrity. Automation does not replace a named expert review when a page claims one.

Authorship, review and corrections

Every technical article identifies its authoring organization or person and links to available identity information. A technical reviewer and review date are displayed only when that review actually occurred and can be attributed accurately; XGY Tek does not invent a named expert or credential for search visibility.

Material changes update the visible modified date. Publication dates, test dates, standards editions, and review dates must describe the page truthfully rather than being changed solely to appear fresh.

If you identify a factual error, broken source, unclear attribution, or potentially misleading image or example, email info@xgytek.com with the page URL and the evidence supporting the correction. XGY Tek will review substantiated corrections and update the article or its evidence boundary where appropriate.

What this policy does not promise

An originality notice, citation list, schema field, or automated audit does not guarantee technical correctness, legal compliance, certification, search ranking, rich-result display, indexing, or citation by an AI system. Readers must confirm the applicable standard edition, product configuration, safety assessment, measurement method, and project acceptance criteria before making an engineering or purchasing decision.
