XPAL-3000 High Precision Programmable AC Load

XGY XPAL-3000 is a high precision programmable AC load with a rated load power of 3000 W: a program-controlled adjustable load box, which can also be manually controlled, for testing AC sources at a fixed voltage by setting power, current or resistance.

The XPAL-3000 load function has a rated current of 27 A at 105 to 135 V and 13.6 A at 215 to 240 V, so one unit covers sources in both the lower and the upper voltage band at power factor 1.0. The XPAL-3000 has half the rated power and rated current of the XPAL-6000 and a lower, shallower chassis.

XPAL-3000: Intelligent operation achieves the function of constant power or constant current or resistance. 24-bit AD conversion is adopted, the sampling period is about 8000 times/s, and the voltage and current are sampled simultaneously. New power consumption components are adopted with high power density, and forced air cooling is adopted for heat dissipation.

The XPAL-3000 connects to a PC or controller over RS-232 with Modbus RTU, so the load can be program-controlled from a test script.

Communication interface RS-232

Use an RS-232 cable with a DB-9 interface (male to female direct connection) to connect to the serial port of the controller (such as a PC).

Product maintenance

Clean the chassis and panel regularly to prevent dust accumulation at the input and output ports.

Do not place heavy sundries and liquid containers on the chassis.

Avoid working in places with volatile flammable liquids and conductive fiber dust.
