Additional product details
The YDC-302 provides two isolated outputs of up to 900 W each. On the YDC-302, voltage and current are set from the numeric keypad or the knob, and a built-in compensation function supports output voltage accuracy. List sequence output runs programmed YDC-302 output sequences for repeatable test steps, and the fan speed follows temperature for a quieter bench. The YDC-302 stores nine set-ups for recurring test conditions.
Where two isolated channels help
Because the two YDC-302 outputs are isolated from each other, each can supply a rail with its own reference — for example a logic supply and a separate actuator or heater supply on one DUT — without the channels sharing a return path. The datasheet does not describe series or parallel connection of the channels, output tracking, protection thresholds, transient response or the programming command set, so confirm any of these at quotation if the test plan depends on them.
SENSE and RS-232 are standard. LAN, RS-485 or USB can be ordered instead, and a selected optional interface replaces the standard one, so name the interface your station controller actually uses when you order.
Key Capabilities & Applications
Separate supply references
Both outputs carry the selected model's same per-channel rating and remain isolated from each other for independent rail tests.
Repeatable test sequences
List-sequence output, nine preset memories and 1 mV / 1 mA setting resolution support repeated test profiles.
Sense and communication selection
SENSE and RS-232 are standard. Optional LAN, RS-485 or USB communication replaces the standard interface.
Common applications

Performance notes
Every figure in the YDC-302 model table is the rating of one channel. The YDC-302 has two such channels, and both channels of a given model carry the same rating.
For every model, load regulation and line regulation share the same figures. Voltage regulation is ≤ 0.1% + 20 mV on the two 30 V models, ≤ 0.1% + 15 mV on YDC-30290-60-15, ≤ 0.1% + 25 mV on YDC-30290-15-60 and ≤ 0.1% + 10 mV on the 60 V / 10 A, 80 V and 150 V models. Current regulation is ≤ 0.1% + 5 mA throughout, except ≤ 0.1% + 8 mA on YDC-30290-15-60.
Resolution is not accuracy
Voltage and current are set in 1 mV and 1 mA steps on every YDC-302 model, but the setting accuracy at 25 °C ±5 °C is ≤ 0.1% + 10 mV for voltage and ≤ 0.3% + 10 mA for current. On a YDC-30290-15-60 channel set to 60 A, the current term alone allows up to 190 mA of error; on a YDC-30290-150-6 channel set to 1 A it allows 13 mA. If a test limit is tighter than that, measure the current with a calibrated external meter instead of relying on the set point. Readback accuracy carries the same figures.

Model selection details
Reading the model number
The YDC-302 model number spells out the per-channel rating. In YDC-30290-30-30, “302” identifies the two-channel series, “90” is the rated power per channel divided by ten (900 W), and “30-30” gives the maximum voltage and current (30 V, 30 A). In all seven models the rated power equals the maximum voltage multiplied by the maximum current, so the ratings describe a full rectangular envelope rather than an auto-ranging curve. Choose the model whose voltage and current ratings both cover the load: a higher-voltage model is not a route to more current, and the YDC-30290-150-6 stays limited to 6 A whatever voltage it is set to.
Size the current rating against the load’s worst case rather than its steady state — start-up inrush into input capacitance, a stalled motor or a cold heater element all draw more than the nominal figure.

Selection guidance
Format: Two-channel isolated DC source, 2U
Coverage: 2 isolated channels; 15 to 150 V, 6 to 60 A and 600 W or 880 W or 900 W power per channel, by model
Best for: Benches and integrated test stations that need two independent high-current or high-voltage rails from one 2U unit.
If each rail needs 300 W or less and finer current setting than the YDC-302 offers, the YDC100 Series offers 0.1 mA resolution on two or three channels. If the station needs more than two rails at these power levels, the YDC-304 Series carries the same seven per-channel ratings on four isolated channels.
Information for your quotation
The YDC-302 rated input is AC 220 V ±10%, a window of 198 V to 242 V. Australian 230 V mains sits inside it at nominal, but sites that run near the upper end of the AS 60038 tolerance should confirm input compatibility. Input current and power factor are not specified; with both channels of a 900 W model at full load the output alone is 1.8 kW, so ask for the maximum input current before planning the branch circuit.
